Is this legal?
Yes. The Drop Bear Dash is a charity raffle conducted by the Rotary Club of Narrandera under the NSW Community Gaming Act 2018. Every entry supports the cause. Bears that finish top three trigger live prize draws on the broadcast — and the prizes are serious. Full reveal before race day.
What can I win?
The top three bears in each race trigger live prize draws for their backers. The full prize list is revealed before race day — we'll say this much: the stewards insisted on a bigger table. 18+, T&Cs apply.
Where does the money go?
Rotary Narrandera directs funds to koala preservation work in Narrandera — the September count, colony monitoring, habitat and welfare on the Murrumbidgee.
How are results announced?
Results are declared live on the broadcast and published instantly on the site; prize-draw winners are contacted by email. Four races: 2:00pm, 2:15pm, 2:30pm and 2:45pm AEST. All twenty bears run in every race, and gates for each race close five minutes before it starts.
Who can enter?
You must be 18+ to enter the raffle. Watching, chatting, donating and the free Crew Cup are open to everyone, worldwide. Full eligibility details are in the Terms.
What if I share with a mate and they back a bear?
